THE MEANING of Easter
The date of the Christian Easter changes from year to year and is always on the Sunday following the first full moon after the spring equinox. This system was established once and for all in the 4th-century.In the Catholic Church, the date for Easter falls between March 22 and April 25.If March 21 is a full moon, and that this day happens to be a Saturday, then Easter will be on the following day (March 22). If, on the other hand, it is a Sunday then Easter will be on the following Sunday (March 28).On the other hand, if the full moon is on March 20, the next full moon will be on April 18 and if this happens to be a Sunday then Easter will be on the following Sunday, i.e. April 25.
